NRHA Futurity

2009 was not the year for the three year olds from the ranch. Gun Stinger and Lil Gun Dunit we continue to work with Marcy with an eye toward the Sun Circuit in Scottsdale in January and then the derby competitions later in the spring - the NRBC and the NRHA Derby.

2009 NRHA Futurity

Marcy and assistant Trapper Rodgers are heading off to OKC for the 2009 NRHA Futurity. Marcy will compete on two ranch horses, Gun Stinger and Lil Gun Dun It.

Colonels Smoking Gun is the sire of Gun Stinger and the grandsire of Lil Gun Dun It. Marcy rode Gunners Special Nite, also sired by Colonels Smoking Gun to a Reserve finish in the 2007 Open Futurity.
